Our Trustees visit Farato April 2024

Sir Roger Manwood's team return home

The return visit of Sir Roger Manwood pupils and teachers in April was so successful that the school is already planning their next visit - probably December 2025. The students helped to cook their evening meals with the teachers and local ladies, they taught in the classes each day and spent two weeks in the village meeting a variety of people. One student remarked that through her conversations with Gambian pupils she had learnt to take a new perspective of life and to appreciate the opportunities that she was given.
